Event 1: AMRAP 7

Ascending Ladder by 3's rep scheme (3/3, 6/6, 9/9, 12/12...)
  • Stubby Axel Bar Thrusters (70 lb)
  • Burpee Broad Jumps (4')
Team goes directly into Event 2 at the 7:00 mark on the clock.

​Event 2

5 minutes for both partners to establish a max weight for the complex (with a standard Olympic barbell):
  • 1 squat clean + 1 hang squat clean + 1 Jerk

Event 3: Workout for Time (12 minute cap)

21-15-9-Jump Rope-9-15-21
  • Row for Calories
  • Dead Lifts
Description:
  • Between the sets of 9’s the athletes must complete 100 DU’s
  • Dead Lift Weight is 135 (21’s) / 155 (15’s) / 185 (9’s)
  • Athletes will move their bar down the field and back up the field as they progress through each round of the workout, while changing the weight to meet the requirement of the current rep scheme.
  • Athletes can split the work however they choose

  • 60 Pull Ups
  • 2 Rope Climbs (1 each)
  • 60 OHS (55 lb)
  • 2 Rope Climbs (1 each)
  • 60 Toes To Bar
  • 2 Rope Climbs (1 each)

  • Comfortable Doing: Pull Ups, HSPU, T2B & Double-Unders
  • Clean & Jerk: 165lb/115lb for reps
  • Snatches: 125lb/85lb for reps
  • Kettlebell: 72lb/53lb for reps
  • Front Squat: 185lb/125lb for reps
  • Dead Lifts: 275lb/185lb for reps
Scaled Competition Standards
  • Wall Balls: 14lb/10lb; 10ft/10ft
  • Box Jumps: 24"/20" (steps ups not permitted)
  • Clean & Jerks: 115lb/75lb for reps
  • Kettlebell Swings: 53lb/36lb for reps
  • Front Squat: 145lb/95lb for reps
  • Dead Lifts: 205lb/145lb for reps
Are the workouts Final?
Over the next month we will be testing all of the events and, based on our findings, some small adjustments might be made.
How Many Master Divisions?
There will be two divisions for Masters athletes: a Men's Division and a Women's Division. To participate in the Master's Division both athletes need to be 40+ as of June 25, 2016. Although Masters athletes of all ages will compete in the same division, we have provided a difference in weights for teams that have both athletes older than 50 years old.
